Medical Nutrition Therapy

Elle brings a wealth of experience in medical nutrition therapy to Greater Boston Urology. As a registered dietitian, Elle counsels patients on how to make healthy and sustainable changes to their diets for better disease management. Dietary changes are first-line treatments for many conditions, including overactive bladder, interstitial cystitis, constipation, kidney stones, and more.

Elle earned her Certificate in the Didactic Program in Dietetics from Simmons College in Boston and her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Wellness from Bradley University in Illinois where she was a Presidential Scholar, Cecilia Anne Chesko Wheeler Scholar, and Helen C. Hopper Memorial Scholar.

In addition, Elle has numerous relevant certifications that enrich her work, including a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management and her board certification as a Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management. That latter is significant: fewer than 25 providers in Massachusetts hold this credential.

Elle has worked with multiple hospitals in Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Most recently, Elle was the Clinical Nutrition Manager at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston where she provided inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling to patients. A member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Elle has also been published in National Strength and Conditioning Association Journal.

Outside of work, Elle loves giving back. She's been involved in local winter clothing drives, Walk MS Boston (which raises money to find a cure for multiple sclerosis), and Pump Pack Project for Children with Diabetes with Peoria Children's Hospital of Illinois. Plus, she provided nutrition education to community seniors in the Mission Hill Healthy Moves program and Senior Celtics events.

Elle loves animals, and in her spare time, she volunteers weekly at an animal rescue. You can follow her on Instagram where she talks about tips for eating well.

Elle currently sees patients via telehealth appointments (for initial and subsequent visits) or in-person in our Dedham Care Center.
