Biography

Marie brings over three decades of experience to her work as a nurse navigator at Greater Boston Urology. She's served as the director of operations for home care, most recently at Amedisys. Marie has also worked in director roles for a variety of other healthcare organizations, including Aveanna Healthcare, Bayada Home Health Care, Benchmark Senior Living, and Sunrise Senior Living.

As an oncology patient navigator for Signature Healthcare at Brockton Hospital, Marie developed and implemented a caregiver support group. In addition to her diligent advocacy for patients, she's a firm believer in providing support to caregivers.

At Morton Hospital in Taunton, Marie served as the Director of Operations for the TCU. She's also worked as a case manager for organizations like Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Specialty Oncology Case Management, Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical, and the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association where she did palliative case management. In addition, she worked as a nurse in a chemo oncology clinic in a private practice in Brockton.

As GBU's Nurse Navigator, Marie assists patients and caregivers in understanding the patient's prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment options. Known for her compassion and willingness to go the extra mile, Marie helps families identify medical benefits and coordinate resources based upon patients' needs, insurance coverage, and community programs.

Marie works out of our Dedham Care Center, which serves as GBU's headquarters.
