Dr. Gillard was honored with inclusion in South Shore Living and Cape Cod Magazine’s Top Doctor Award in 2015 and 2016 and in Boston Magazine and South Shore Living’s Top Doctor Award in 2017.
Born in Nova Scotia and raised in Dedham, Dr. Gillard received his undergraduate degree from Saint Anselm College. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and did his surgical internship at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He completed his training in urology at Lahey Hitchcock Clinic in Burlington.
Dr. Gillard has been practicing urology in southeastern Massachusetts since 1998. He is the former Chief of Urology at Jordan Hospital. In 2011, he joined Greater Boston Urology and practices out of the Plymouth Care Center.
Regularly named a “Top Doc,” Dr. Gillard has been trained in the SpaceOAR Hydrogel system and is eager to educate patients on how this treatment option can help minimize the side effects of prostate cancer radiation therapy.
