Understanding Male Orgasmic Dysfunction
Also called male orgasmic disorder or male anorgasmia, orgasmic dysfunction in men is the persistent inability for a male to achieve orgasm (climax) with a partner despite sufficient sexual contact and stimulation. The male may or may not be able to achieve orgasm through masturbation or oral sex.
The causes vary widely and can include side effects from medications or surgery, psychological issues, and medical conditions, such as diabetes (just to name a few). An accurate diagnosis of the underlying cause is essential to creating an effective treatment plan. This is why it’s important to talk to your doctor.
