Dr. Morris earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sage Graduate School in Troy, New York, and her Bachelor of Psychology from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York.
Previous clinical experience includes a position with the Department of Rehab Therapy at Boston Medical Center where she worked as an outpatient orthopedic therapist and specialized in pelvic health. There, she developed patient education handouts on men's pelvic health, pessaries, dilators, multiple pelvic health diagnoses and transgender health to empower patients in their care and promote active participation in treatments.
Dr. Morris is a firm believer in bringing awareness to gender diversity in health care so as to create a more welcoming environment for all patients. Her ongoing professional development and presentations reflect this desire. At Boston Medical Center, Dr. Morris did a presentation on the role of pelvic health physical therapy in transgender health care, as well as multiple presentations to the Obstetrics and Gynecology department to improve patient access to pelvic health physical therapy.
